Jesus encouraged his disciples, saying, “So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.”
It seems the disciples were somewhat intimidated by the opposition. Those confronting them were educated and eloquent, and the entire system was against Jesus, requiring them to swim against the current.
However, this wasn’t a war of words or rhetorical abilities. The Lord always distanced himself from fruitless arguments, focusing on the condition of the human heart, whether cultured, wealthy, fisherman, or peasant.
It’s not about winning divisive debates. It’s about carrying the truth revealed by Jesus in intimacy, proclaiming it from the rooftops with love and kindness.
Let nothing and no one intimidate you from sharing the truth that transformed your life. Even opponents and mockers need God’s love. You must love them first before speaking with them. If you don’t, you’ll be closing the door to their salvation.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
