Jesus was in Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to Him and begged Him to touch him. The Lord took him by the hand and led him out of the village. There, He laid His hands on him and asked if he saw anything.
The blind man replied, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.” It was a significant improvement: he could see blurry images, but Jesus wanted to complete His work in him.
He placed His hands on the man’s eyes again, and this time his vision was restored, and he saw everything clearly.
This is a case of a double touch from Jesus for complete healing. God’s healing act is always sovereign, intelligent, and complete.
Sometimes, the Almighty heals instantly, sometimes through a medium or long process, and sometimes it requires prior humility or learning. The wonderful thing is to always be in the hands of the Physician of Physicians.
This blind man went from total darkness to seeing blurry images. He was content and never questioned the Master. In a second act, he began to see as he had never seen before in his life.
Whenever we go through illness, let us place ourselves in the hands of the Holy Physician, listen to His diagnosis with humility, and await His loving and wise work.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?”
He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.”
Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.”
