Many people see Jesus only as a historical figure. The most religious, at least, aspire to have a slight connection with Him on the weekends.
The truth is that the Savior’s story didn’t end with His death on the cross and ascension into heaven. Before He left, He said, “Surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
So, why not aspire to have a true and constant relationship with Him in our days?
Sometimes, our main barrier is examining everything with a human mindset, which is limited. The truth is that spiritual things must be understood spiritually when God reveals Himself to our lives.
This revelation comes like new wine, which refreshes our being and brings joy, even in times of adversity.
Jesus said, “No one pours new wine into old wineskins; otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins, the wine will be spilled, and the skins will be ruined. No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins.”
God wants to give us a new heart, capable of containing the new wine that He has prepared for each of us. Ask for it in prayer, and you will receive it.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins.”
— Luke 5:37-38
