Have you ever hidden your faith to fit in with the group? Do you feel that contradiction between stating who you are and maintaining your popularity?
Jesus warned: “If anyone is ashamed of me and my message, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when he returns in his glory and in the glory of the Father and the holy angels.”
Feeling ashamed of Jesus while simultaneously admiring and following him is utterly inconsistent. It’s like loving someone and not sharing your joy with anyone. The marks of the Lord will soon be noticeable in your character, and everyone will be able to perceive them.
Feeling ashamed of the message of salvation is to deny its effectiveness in us. If something did you good, isn’t it good news to share? To remain silent, in all cases, is as selfish as not sharing medicine in front of the sick, regardless of its severity.
If we don’t react in time, we will be the shame of the Lord when he returns in his glory.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.”
— Luke 9:26
