Jesus, speaking in Nazareth, said to them, “Surely you will quote this proverb to me: “Physician, heal yourself.” And you will tell me, “Do here in your hometown what we have heard that you did in Capernaum.”
But truly I tell you, no prophet is accepted in his hometown.”
Jesus did not perform many miracles in the city where he grew up because the people did not believe in him. They never would have imagined that the Son of God dwelled among them.
For the miraculous work of God to occur in every circumstance, it not only requires the presence of the Lord, but also the faith of the people who are to receive this benefit.
Nazareth did not receive the sweet work of God in the times of Jesus due to its lack of faith. Ask yourself sincerely: Am I hindering God’s work in my life because I don’t fully believe that the Almighty goes before me?
It is not always the Lord who closes the doors; sometimes it is our disbelief and disobedience that delays the blessing of a just God.
Let us make the necessary changes, and our family will be benefited.
