One of the religious men asked Jesus to come to his house for a meal. And while they were there, a woman arrived with a jar of perfume.
She began to weep and, with her tears, washed Jesus’ feet, drying them with her hair. She kissed his feet and anointed them with the perfume.
Observing this, the religious man thought to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know what kind of woman is touching him, that she is a sinner.”
Jesus, aware of the man’s thoughts, showed him the immensity of God’s forgiveness. Turning to the woman, he said to the religious man, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house, and you didn’t provide water for my feet. Yet, she has washed my feet with her tears and dried them with her hair.
You didn’t give me a kiss, but since I came in, she hasn’t stopped kissing my feet. You didn’t anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with perfume.”
It doesn’t matter your past; it doesn’t matter what you have done or not done. What matters are the decisions you will make from today onward. This woman is remembered in the Scriptures for the forgiveness she received from Jesus; she will never be remembered for her past life.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.”
— Luke 7:46-47
