Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem when ten lepers approached him. They stood at a distance and cried out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.”
Upon seeing them, he said, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” As they went, they were cleansed.
Interestingly, out of the ten healed lepers, only one returned to express gratitude. He came back, glorifying God loudly, fell with his face to the ground at Jesus’ feet, and thanked him.
Doesn’t this situation seem familiar? How often does God bless us with benefits, and yet, we show so little gratitude? Sometimes, we even dare to complain as if God were “obligated” to shower us with blessings.
God acts in His infinite mercy and delights in providing us with what we truly need. Let’s always be thankful for everything the Lord grants us.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”
When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.”
— Luke 17:11-14
