Jesus warned his disciples not to tell anyone who he was. He added, “The Son of Man must suffer many terrible things. He will be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the teachers of religious law. They will kill him, but on the third day, he will rise again.”
How interesting: Nowadays, we want to explain to everyone who Jesus is. However, the Master himself advised his disciples not to do so. Seeking a theological explanation to satisfy intellectual ego produces counterproductive results.
The effects of centuries of contradicting Jesus on this point are: elders or stubborn opinion leaders, priests who could not abandon their commitments to follow Jesus, and teachers entangled in a traditional or family religion.
In contrast, the resurrection is God’s supernatural act that raised Jesus from the dead as the firstfruits, paving the way for the transfer of his followers from darkness to his admirable light.
We need fewer theological arguments with our relatives and more prayer and testimony so that God performs a supernatural act of conversion in their lives.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Jesus strictly warned them not to tell this to anyone. And he said, “The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.”
— Luke 9:21-22
