When John the Baptist was in prison, he sent two of his disciples to ask Jesus, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?”
In a moment of crisis, brought on by confinement and threats, John wanted to be sure he had devoted his life to the right person.
It is in times of adversity and confusion that we must ask ourselves: Is it worth investing our lives in Jesus?
The Master responded: “Go and tell John what you hear and see. The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, those with leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.”
At first glance, this may seem like a long list of miracles, but behind each miracle was a deep crisis, a person in pain, and the Lord became the answer to their suffering.
Even in the midst of adversity, John the Baptist and countless disciples affirmed that “it is worth investing our lives in Jesus.”
The personal benefits are immense; but even more, the impact on others—the transformation of lives and families—truly fills our hearts and gives us an infinite purpose.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
