There was a moment when Jesus faced Satan in the wilderness. The adversary presented Him with three temptations.
In all of them, the Lord emerged victorious by using the Word of God. Interestingly, two of these temptations began by sowing doubt about the very identity of the Savior.
Satan said to Him, “If you are the Son of God… do this to prove it.”
The attack on Jesus’ identity has become a recurring strategy, now targeting the children of God. The enemy sows doubt even in the hearts of Christ’s followers.
Today, when a Christian fails the Lord, they might become so discouraged that they begin to question whether they are still a child of God because of what they’ve done.
The enemy attacks our minds, trying to bring us down and suggesting that we abandon our faith.
In those moments, it’s crucial to remember that from the beginning, God loved us unconditionally and gifted us salvation without any merit on our part.
Nothing has changed since then: salvation remains unearned, His forgiveness is absolute, and the decision to draw near to Him is entirely ours.
By accepting Christ as our Lord and Savior, we have been given the right to become children of God forever. We may stumble, fall, and rise again, but nothing can reverse the decree that has been proclaimed from heaven.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.”
Jesus answered, “It is written: “Man shall not live on bread alone.”
— Luke 4:3-4
