Jesus asserted: “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time?
It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.”
A faithful servant is someone constant in his love for God, persevering in fulfilling what must be done, someone who does not disappoint the trust placed in him.
A wise servant is a prudent person who shows and acts with calmness and intelligence in times of calm and in critical moments.
Faithfulness is related to well-executed work; wisdom has to do with the greatness of the heart while achieving objectives.
God is looking for faithful and wise individuals to spiritually lead and feed His people. Gifts and talents are of great help, but a character consecrated to the Lord is much more decisive.
Men and women are needed, faithful and wise, to visit the brokenhearted, to bring a Word of Hope to those who have fallen, to pray for the sick and distressed.
The reward: The master will put those servants in charge of everything he owns.
