And Jesus added, “So do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?” For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
From the moment we wake up until we go to sleep, our brains are processing multiple ways to get what we need. There are moments when we do it calmly, but when deadlines approach, the frenzy and anxiety begin.
It is then that we desperately go out to seek, lose equanimity, and get entangled in the most unsuspected plots. Prisoners of our imbalance, we turn to God as a “Plan B” and turn our prayers into an urgent “wish list.”
How different it is to follow the Lord’s plan: To seek first the kingdom of God every morning, listen to His voice of peace through His Word, practice a life of justice in favor of others, and reap the blessings that the Creator adds for our sustenance.
Many do not like this peace; they prefer the adrenaline of disorder, being on the edge of the abyss, anxious not knowing what will happen tomorrow with their lives.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“So do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?” For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
— Matthew 6:31-33
