Have you heard of the unforgivable sin? Does God not forgive every sin?
Jesus delved into this matter: “That is why I tell you that every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.”
Here, it is crucial to consider the context. The religious leaders accused Jesus of spiritually liberating people with the power of Beelzebub, the prince of demons. They refused to accept that the Savior had the Holy Spirit and was doing the work of God.
Admitting this would mean recognizing Jesus’ superiority, and they would have to submit to His spiritual authority. Instead, they accused the Lord of using satanic powers, thus closing the door to their own salvation.
As we know, God has chosen salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Every sin, even speaking against Jesus, can be forgiven. However, declaring that He is an envoy of Satan or that He lacks the authority to save us, immediately makes our own salvation unattainable. That is the unforgivable sin.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come”.
— Matthew 12:31-32
