After Jesus performed the miracle of multiplying the loaves and fish, those men said, “This is truly the prophet who was to come into the world.”
The people were amazed by the Savior. He had solved their food problem. He could do it as many times as necessary. Hunger in their country would be eradicated.
And what about the miracles of healing He performed? All sickness would disappear, and they would live in times of total prosperity.
Because of this, they came to the conclusion that this was the prophet they had been waiting for.
But understanding that they were about to come and seize Him to make Him king, Jesus withdrew again to the mountain by Himself.
For the Lord, the transformation of a nation would not happen from the top down, but from within the hearts of each of its inhabitants.
“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Romans 14:17).
Let us do our part: The well-being of nations will not come with a change in government, nor with the passing of new laws. The true revolution is the one in the heart.
When Christ comes into a life, He transforms it, fills it with virtues, redirects the family, and the entire community is positively impacted.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“After the people saw the sign Jesus performed, they began to say, “Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.” Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself.”
— John 6:14-15
