Many people want to go to heaven, but no one wants to die to get there. For many, it remains a mystery whether there is life after death.
Each time we’ve attended a wake or a funeral, deep down we may have asked ourselves: Where is that person who has passed away?
Jesus, knowing what deeply concerns us, said: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you.
I am going to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me, so that you may be where I am.”
This is the key to our assurance and the hope of every follower of Christ. We can face the challenges of life with greater strength and conviction. Let us continue to serve the Lord and others until the very last moment we depart.
The King is coming soon to take us with Him. The heavenly dwellings are already prepared.
We are strangers and pilgrims in this world. Our true citizenship is in heaven, from where we also await the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:20).

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
— John 14:2-3
