There are people who come to God more easily, and others who don’t. Certainly, this is a mystery.
Jesus declared: “All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me, I will never cast out.”
Here, we find God inviting all of humanity to have a personal encounter with Him. There is no favoritism.
With cords of love, He draws us to Himself, removes every yoke of slavery and harmful dependency, and tenderly nourishes us.
All those who accept the Father’s invitation are entrusted to the care of Jesus. He never casts anyone out, and nothing can separate us from His love.
The truth is, not everyone accepts this offer immediately. Some reject it, others take time to think, and others come to the Lord already wounded by life.
Jesus also said: “For this is the will of God: That everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life; and I will raise them up on the last day” (John 6:39).
Let us have patience with others, the same patience the Father had when waiting for us. He accompanied us and witnessed even our gravest mistakes. In the end, He welcomed us into His sweet arms of love and never cast us out.
