Jesus said, “If I drive out demons by the power of God, then the Kingdom of God has come and is among you.
When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his possessions are safe, until someone stronger attacks him and overpowers him, takes away his armor and divides up his spoils.”
Although the evil one is called the prince of this world, he doesn’t hold that title because of his superior power, but because humanity has surrendered control of their lives to him, and we see the terrible consequences of this.
This is why Jesus came—to undo the works of the evil one and push him back in his efforts to damage humanity. The Lord’s work is not easy; it is precise, person by person, heart by heart, freeing those who are held captive.
The truth is, when Jesus comes into a life, the evil one loses control and flees in the presence of Christ’s authority. Therefore, the false practice of expelling demons from believers is wrong. Christ and Belial cannot dwell in the same heart.
For this reason, we are now called “More than conquerors.”

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe. But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted and divides up his plunder.”
— Luke 11:20-22
