One day, Jesus and His disciples stood before a mountain, and He said to them: «Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Move and throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.»
The Lord was referring to those mountains that block our path and prevent us from moving forward. On life’s journey, challenges so great will appear that our first thought will be to give up.
But what if it is God’s will that we command that mountain to move in order to continue on our way? Then our faith will be tested by that mountain.
Once we know that it is God’s will to continue in that project, the key is not to focus on the mountain, but to climb a much higher peak, into the presence of the Eternal Father.
From the holy mountain of prayer, from the perspective of the Most High, we will see those «unreachable mountains» as small. Is there anything impossible for the Lord to move from our path?
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths” (Isaiah 2:3).

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea,” and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.”
— Mark 11:23
