Jesus was on a boat with His disciples when suddenly a great storm arose, and the waves crashed with all their fury.
The boat was tossed uncontrollably, and the disciples were filled with fear.
Strangely, the Savior was asleep in the midst of this crisis.
The disciples, in their desperation, went to wake Him up, saying, “Lord, save us, we are perishing.”
Immediately, Jesus said to them, “Why are you afraid, men of little faith?”
What is the relationship between fear and faith? Are they antagonistic?
Fear is the feeling of helplessness in the midst of danger, in the middle of a crisis. Meanwhile, faith is the firm conviction of what is not seen. I do not see a way out, but I choose to trust in the One who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Then, Jesus stood up, rebuked the winds and the sea, and an incredible peace came.
May your next crisis not be a reason to think that God has forgotten you, but an opportunity to let go of all fear and rest in the One who makes a way where there is none.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”
He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.”
— Matthew 8:25-26
