One of the reasons we speak poorly of others or disqualify them is because we have already been hurt.
Jesus said: “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, so that it does not come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.”
To judge others is to place oneself in the position of a judge, pretending to be the one who evaluates others from a supposed state of high morality.
To condemn others is to close one’s heart to a new opportunity, to discard a life, and to fold one’s arms, letting it fall into its misfortune.
Meanwhile, to forgive is to restore life to others, to see ourselves as subjects capable of error, imperfect like them, yet equally favored by God’s mercy.
Choose to forgive, choose to give life, choose to lift the fallen, and inherit the magnanimity of a loving Heavenly Father. You have been chosen for great battles and victories.
If you conquer your heart, you will be ready to conquer kingdoms, and through God, you will achieve great feats.
