Have you ever wondered how many real friends you truly have? True friends, those you can rely on during times of adversity, doubt, reflection, and intimacy.
The truth is, it’s difficult to find friends in such a competitive world. But just as we seek friends who understand us, we might also ask ourselves: Am I a trustworthy and worthy person to be a friend to others?
“A man who has friends must himself be friendly, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother” (Proverbs 18:24).
Jesus placed the word “friendship” in a prominent position when He said: “This is my commandment: That you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
Jesus set Himself as the example to follow. He gave His life for all of us and showed us His genuine friendship. Let us follow in His footsteps and always be willing to give our time, company, and advice in a world immersed in loneliness.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
— John 15:12-13
