Jesus was in a boat with his disciples when a fierce storm suddenly arose. Violent waves were crashing into the boat, and it began to fill with water.
The Lord was asleep, and the disciples woke him up, saying, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”
When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence, be still.” Suddenly, the wind stopped, and there was a great calm.
The disciples said, “Who is this man, that even the wind and the waves obey him?”
Jesus demonstrated his divine nature by speaking directly to the elements of creation and altering their behavior.
Therefore, it is valid to pray to God in the face of imminent danger from a natural phenomenon and to plead for a reduction in its intensity or for divine protection.
It is also a good time to seek forgiveness, as many current climatic disorders are caused by direct human pollution.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”
They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”
