Every time Jesus walked through the streets, the crowd pressed around the Master.

One day, a woman who had been suffering from a flow of blood came up behind Him and touched the edge of His cloak, and immediately she was healed.

At that moment, Jesus stopped and said, “Who has touched me?”

His disciples were surprised. The whole crowd was pressing and jostling Him. How could He ask that question?

But Jesus said, “Someone has touched me; for I know that power has gone out from me.”

Then, when the woman saw that she could not go unnoticed, she came trembling and fell at His feet, showing how much she believed in Him and how she had been healed.

In that instant, Jesus said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you; go in peace.”

Many people seek Jesus. They all have different motivations. But He, who knows the hearts, rewards those who truly seek Him.

God continues to say to us, “Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:12-13).
