Do we already have the complete revelation of God, or are we waiting for something more?
Jesus told his disciples, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”
The prophets of the Old Testament proclaimed the coming of Jesus to this world, but they did not have a clear understanding of all His purposes. They knew He would be a liberator, a ruler, a redeemer, a prophet, or all of these at once.
With Jesus’ appearance in this world, all the prophecies took shape and meaning, revealing to us the King of Kings and Lord of Lords in all His splendor.
His entire generation saw Him and celebrated; He was established as a real and historical figure. His words have been recorded and tested through the centuries, ensuring their effectiveness.
Death could not contain Him, and He has promised to be with us until the end. Blessed are the eyes that saw Him and blessed are the eyes that today enjoy His presence in the midst of a world of affliction.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Then he turned to his disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”
— Luke 10:23-24
