Jesus went to the lake with his disciples, and a large crowd followed him. People came from all the nearby and distant provinces. The sick pushed forward to be able to touch him.
News of his miracles spread everywhere. There was a lot of poverty, and when people got sick, they had no access to medicines or health specialists.
That’s why when Jesus appeared, it was the only chance they had to be cured of their ailments, and they had to make a long journey to meet Him.
God has reserved health and illness under His exclusive control. The advancement of science will only discover what He has already created beforehand for our well-being.
Sometimes, the Creator allows illnesses as a red light on our path, a beneficial pause to have all our attention and carefully observe the new things He has for us.
People will continue to seek Jesus during their illness. Whether we take medicine or are deprived of it, it will always be a timely occasion to have a decisive encounter with God.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him. For he had healed many, so that those with diseases were pushing forward to touch him.”
— Mark 3:9-10
