What is the extent of your influence in this world? Are you aware that your presence as a follower of Jesus can tip the scales for good in any situation?
Jesus affirmed: “Salt is good for seasoning, but if it loses its flavor, how can it be made salty again?
Salt without flavor is useless for the soil or for fertilizer. It’s thrown away. Let those with ears to hear, listen and understand!”
The Lord urged his followers to be the salt of this world. Salt, basically, has two functions: to give flavor and to prevent corruption.
There are believers who have only remained in salvation. They’ve taken a long breather after their encounter with Christ and have stayed in a permanent pause for years. There’s no spiritual growth, no great challenges to fulfill; they’re just saved.
God invites us to shake off the lethargy, to intentionally move towards a better communion with Him, and to take on the historical role entrusted to us.
We are called to be the salt of this world. We represent humanity’s only chance to find flavor in life and to avoid its corruption and decay.
The challenge is great; it couldn’t be otherwise, coming from a great God.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is fit neither for the soil nor for the manure pile; it is thrown out. Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”
— Luke 14:34-35
