Jesus, speaking about life beyond death, affirmed: “Long after Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob died, God said to Moses: I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
Therefore, He is God of the living, not of the dead.”
With these words, Jesus was demonstrating that God awaits us for a life in eternity.
Here on earth, we are in a period of learning, where we make decisions that will transcend into heaven.
In this stage, we decide whether we accept Jesus as our personal Savior. This defines our access to the presence of God forever.
Likewise, we have the opportunity to know the Creator more through the study of His Word. Furthermore, here we learn to worship the Most High as we will do in eternity.
It’s only 70, 80, or 90 years to make good decisions and positively influence others. Then, we will arrive at the heavenly homeland and live forever with God.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“Now about the dead rising—have you not read in the Book of Moses, in the account of the burning bush, how God said to him, “I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?” He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!”
— Mark 12:26-27
