There was a man named Lazarus who was sick. His sisters sent word to Jesus, saying, “Lord, the one you love is sick.”
When Jesus heard this, he said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.”
There are painful circumstances in our lives that we wouldn’t want to go through, and we may wonder why God allows them to happen.
Lazarus, a friend of Jesus, was sick, and instead of receiving a miraculous healing, he ended up dying two days later, much to everyone’s dismay.
Thankfully, Jesus had an answer that extends to us all. Everything that God allows in our lives is so that we may see his glory, and so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.
In the end, Jesus arrived at Lazarus’ tomb and raised him from the dead. They all witnessed that no matter what is happening, if Jesus comes into our lives, we will soon see the glory of God.

VERSE OF THE DAY:
