When Jesus was alone with his disciples, he not only announced his future death and resurrection to them, but also his return, to reward those who have remained faithful.
He would say to them, “Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his master will put in charge of his household, to give the other servants their food at the proper time?”
The relationship between Jesus and his disciples could only endure if it was based on loyalty. A faithful person is someone steadfast and unwavering in their affections, ideas, and obligations; someone who fulfills all their commitments.
Indeed, God says to us, “I will set my eyes on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in the way of integrity shall minister to me.”
God is seeking faithful, teachable, and gentle individuals who want to learn more about Him, to bring spiritual nourishment to a needy world.
Jesus added, “Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions.”

VERSE OF THE DAY:
“The Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.”
